Twin sisters photographers Dasha and Mari from Kiev, Ukraine, are excelling in fashion, psychological portrait and artistic nude domains. Their unique style is remarkable through the cinematic representation of the feminine grace, thus creating their sophisticated visual stories where fashion and art imbricate sensually.
One of their favourite quotes is: '“A good photograph is like a rich bouquet of flavors… it makes you wish to return to inhale that smell again, to enjoy it once more!”
Dasha and Mari were finalists of the Hasselblad Masters Awards in 2014, fashion nominees of the Photography Masters Cup 2014 and shortlisted photographers in the Fashion Category of the Sony World Photography Awards 2012 (London UK).
This featured exhibition will be exposed on the opening page or our site from the 1st of December till the 15th of December 2021.

I don't want to be misunderstood; the gallery from a technical point of view is excellent but it always shows semi-naked women in absolutely standardized and eroticized poses; and I ask myself what photography tells me of the
psychology of the character?
I think it is not a problem of the author, who is very free to develop his work as he pleases, but of the interpretation that 1x.com makes of it.
in short, the woman as always, eroticized model and on top of that they try to sell us a psychological portrait of the same women. !!!!

I completely agree with you. The psychological portrait is completely inappropriate here. Just a gloss, stylized after the aesthetics of the middle of the last century. |
