Result Contest: The Golden Hour

by Yvette Depaepe
Published the 4th of August 2021

As we all know, the golden hour is the short and soft daytime light after sunrise or before sunset.  The golden hour is so called the magic hour or the blue hour by photographers because the light is redder and softer.  Everything under this light seems beautiful and dreamy.
Look by yourself and admire the top 10.

The winners with the most votes are:

1st place: Enrique Izquierdo
2nd place: Bodo Balzer      2081085
3rd place: Jenny Cameron

Congratulations to the winners and honourable mentions and thanks to all the participants
in the contest 'The Golden Hour'.

'Road shots' is the currently running contest theme.
Nothing captures the magic of an open road better than … well, the open road.
In the forest, city, mountains, deserts or at night, you can find everywhere interesting sinuous shapes of roads. As for the composition, sometimes it is a good idea to start the road from a corner up to the middle or the other corner. It will appear larger in the starting corner and thinner at the end.

This contest will end at midnight on Sunday the 15th  of August 2021.
The sooner you upload your submission the more chance you have to gather the most votes.

Good luck to all the participants.
