Weekly theme Pets winners

Everybody's taking photos of their pets, but 1x pet photos are something extra. Besides very common pets such as cats and dogs, the entries also showed us other kinds of pets such as mice and roosters. Perhaps a bit less common, but equally well captured. Many also chose to include humans in their photo, which showed us the special relationship between a pet and its owner. The three winners whose pets gathered the most votes were Timo Lehto, Annemieke Stuij and Yvette Depaepe. Congratulations!

A pet is there for us; a tamed and domesticated animal that has become our companion and friend: a dog or a cat, a parrot as well as a chicken, a mouse, a gecko or any other animal which we cherish deeply. We are there for our pets; to show our gratitude and to give them what they deserve: the same affection and fondness and what they show towards us. I’m very glad that the members of 1x are doing just that and express it so well in their photos.
