The modern word "green" comes from an old Anglo-Saxon expression for growth. This is very evident when browsing through the stunning entries in last week's theme contest. Many based their photos around leaves or grass, while others found inspiration in the animal kingdom or among different kinds of clothing. The three winners, who are not green when it comes to photographing, are Vito Guarino, Þorsteinn H. Ingibergsson and Julian D. Congratulations!
